Is my kid the right age for it?

Approved for 3-8, recommended for 3-5, and the 55 lb weight capacity is the reason for the narrower range. Most kids pass 55 lbs around age 6 or 7, so this is a toddler and preschooler vehicle. For a bigger child, our two-seat ride-ons carry up to 88 lbs.
