ABOUT THIS TOY

Everything needed to build a set of little felt-and-bead dolls that clip onto a backpack. Kids pick the hair, the outfit and the face, so no two come out the same.

Why we picked it

Craft kits fall apart when they only make one thing. This one makes several, which means it survives past the first sitting and can be shared with a friend.

Size and finish

Finished dolls are keychain-sized.

Who it suits

Ages 5-12.

Safety

Contains small beads and parts. Not for children under 3.

Before you buy

Some assembly needs a grown-up's fingers for the tighter knots.

What's in the box

Doll bodies, hair, felt clothing pieces, beads, keyring clips and instructions.
