Off-Road RC Drift Car, 2.4GHz Remote Control
$39.99
ABOUT THIS TOY
A chunky off-road RC car on a 2.4GHz radio, built for driveways, grass and hallway drifting rather than a display shelf. It is the price point where a remote control car stops being a stocking stuffer and starts being the present a kid actually remembers, without getting into hobby-grade money.
Why we picked it
- 2.4GHz radio means several cars can run at once without fighting for a channel
- Oversized treaded tires handle grass, gravel and carpet, not just smooth floors
- Light enough at 1.5 lbs that a crash into the baseboard is not a repair job
- Two colors, so siblings can each have their own and race
Size, fit and specs
- Shipping box: 8.3" x 6.7" x 3.9"
- Shipped weight: 1.55 lbs
- Radio: 2.4GHz
- Colors: Blue or green
- Run time and battery type: Not published by the manufacturer - see the note below
Is my kid the right age for it?
We would put this at 5 and up. A five-year-old can steer it; a three-year-old will mostly drive it into furniture and hand it back. Older kids get more out of it because the fun is in learning to slide it round a corner on purpose.
Materials and safety
- Contains a battery pack and small parts - not for children under 3
- Charge under adult supervision and unplug when the charge is complete
- Keep the wheels away from long hair and loose clothing while it is running
What to know before you order
- The manufacturer has not published run time or charger spec for this model. We have asked; until they answer we would rather leave it blank than guess. Email us if that matters to your decision
- Color is selected at checkout - blue or green
- Indoor drifting works best on hard floors; carpet will slow it down
In the box
- 1 x off-road RC car
- 1 x 2.4GHz controller
- Battery and charging lead as supplied by the manufacturer
Shipping and returns
Ships free from a US warehouse, typically in 5-8 business days with tracking. Keep the packaging until you have tested it. Questions before you buy? Contact us and we will answer from the manufacturer spec sheet, not a guess.
